Diese politische Repr???sentation kann auf verschiedene Weise erfolgen, z.B. durch Gewerkschaften, Kirchen oder Wohlfahrtsverb???nde. Einer anderen Form der Interessenvertretung k???nnen sich Unternehmen bedienen, sie wird gemeinhin als Lobbyismus bezeichnet. Lobbying meint die Versuche, im Interesse des Unternehmens auf politische Entscheidungen Einfluss zu nehmen. Grunds???tzlich besteht daher wenig Anlass zur Besorgnis. Die Branche erkl???rt n???chtern, sie leiste einen Beitrag zur pluralistischen Gesellschaft (vgl. Leif/Speth 2006: 16). Der Staat sei bei der Formulierung und Durchsetzung von Politik auf die Hilfe aller gesellschaftlichen Gruppen angewiesen und Lobbying eine Art Arbeitsentlastung. Peter L???sche formuliert klar: "Demokratie braucht Lobbying" (2006a). Nun geh???rt zur Demokratie allerdings auch, nicht immer einer Meinung zu sein. Ein nicht minder gro???er Teil der deutschen Gesellschaft verkn???pft den Lobbyismusbegriff mit dunklen Gesch???ften in Hinterzimmern, schwarzen Koffern und Manipulationen (vgl. Alemann 2000: 3). Das Bild des Lobbyisten in der ???ffentlichkeit ist das des "Spesenritters und Partyl???wen, der in teuren Restaurants und auf parlamentarischen Abenden bei gutem Essen und gutem Wein politischen Entscheidungstr???gern einfl???stert, wie sie zu entscheiden haben" (Wehrmann 2007: 47). Bleibt die Frage: Was stimmt denn nun? Sicherlich kann keine der beiden Wahrheiten eine universelle G???ltigkeit f???r sich beanspruchen
