Derart neuiiher tragene Verse sind in der gegenw???rtigen Ausgabe gr???fstenteils in ihrer sp???teren Fassung enthalten; jedoch nicht alle solche, weil sie anderwiirts meist in inhaltlich und rhythmimh von ihrem Standort im Dhammapadam sehr verschiedener Umgebung auf treten, die Uebersetzung aber da wie dort aus einem Gusse ist, sodass manchmal eine Verpflanzung der sp???teren Form in den Wahrheitpfad nicht durchf???hr bar erschien. Und wieder einige dieser Verse sollten auch in ihrer so wohlgelungenen fr???heren Fassung erhalten bleiben; wie es ja iiberhaupt zum Erstaun liebsten geh???rt, mit welcher Treffsicherheit gleich im ersten Anlauf die ungemein schwere Aufgabe gel???st worden war.
