Overend, Gurney, and Co. the bills of lading, and the money received from the underwriters for the Marco Bozzaris. This was the fourth steamer which had been lost, leaving a profit of from 4000 to 5000. I may fairly say here that the Greek and Oriental Steam Navigation Company made a profit in two years, on the insurances of the four steamers lost, and on the charter of the Powerful to the Government, of 50,000, all of which was absorbed in this /3op/3opog of the " Corner House."
