The title of this book is misleading.
This is a book of short stories of Los Angeles. It is funny, tough, and tragic at times.
It's about humanity, the poor, the unfortunate who live in the slums of LA, and of others trying to change their lives. It is gritty, and truthful. Lange has an eye for detail. Good Read.
