"007" ist durch die Beziehung zu Bond zum Zeichen geworden. Es ist ein Zeichen, das im Laufe der Jahre mit zahlreichen Assoziationen belegt wurde und sich als Marke international etabliert hat. Aber wie ist es dazu gekommen? Wie ist dieses Zeichen entstanden? Warum hat Bond-Erfinder Ian Fleming seinen Agenten ausgerechnet mit "007" bezeichnet? Die vorliegende Arbeit wird diese Fragen zu kl???ren versuchen und den Weg des Zeichens "007" durch die verschiedenen Formen der medialen Popul???rkultur nachvollziehen. Das Quellenmaterial zum Thema "James Bond" ist reichhaltig und besonders durch die Ver???ffentlichungen von Lee Pfeiffer und Dave Worrall sowie durch die neuen technischen Publikationsm???glicheiten des Internets betr???chtlich erweitert worden. Die Informationen zum Ursprung des Zeichens "007" waren bis zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt jedoch noch wenig verbreitet und demzufolge nicht ganz einfach zu recherchieren.
