Da die Begegnung mit diesem so vielschichtig interessanten Forschungsgebiet der Neurologie im klinischen Laboratorium und am Krankenbett stattgefunden hat, konnte und sollte ein "Erlebnisbericht" in der Sprache der Klinik und fUr die Klinik abgefaBt werden. Die Schnellebigkeit aller Forschung in unserer Zeit bringt es mit sich, daB bereits morgen tiberholt sein kann, was heute noch als gesicherte Erkenntnis vor uns zu stehen scheint. So ist auch das hier entworfene, heute sich bietende Bild von den EiweiBkorpern im Liquor cerebrospinalis ein wandelbares und wandlungs- bedtirftiges. Diese Arbeit moge somit nur als ein derzeitiger Orientierungspunkt in einer rasch sich weiterentwickelnden Liquorforschung angesehen werden. Ein besonderes Bedtirfnis ist es mir, an dieser Stelle meinem hochverehrten Lehrer, Herrn Professor Dr. Dr. h. c.
