Magisterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Beziehungen und Familie, Note: Sehr gut, Universit???t Wien (Institut f???r Soziologie), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die hier vorliegende Magisterarbeit besch???ftigt sich im Allgemeinen mit geschlechtsspezifischen Stereotypen, die mitunter durch die Interaktion der in der Gesellschaft existierenden bin???ren Geschlechtsformen, also Frau und Mann, konstruiert und transformiert werden. Um diese komplexe Thematik m???glichst mit all ihren Facetten aufzeigen und diskutieren zu k???nnen, wurde die Theorie des Geschlechterarrangements in Verbindung mit der Interaktion des viel zitierten soziologischen Autors Erving Goffman (1922 - 1983), herangezogen und mit Hilfe der feministischen Theorien zum einen Kritik an dessen Ausf???hrungen ge???bt, zum anderen das jeweilige Themengebiet konkretisiert und erg???nzt. Eine umfassende Einf???hrung in die Diskussion der geschlechtsspezifischen Stereotype bieten Begriffsdefinitionen und -verwendungsarten, sowie Darstellungen ???ber die Verbindung bzw. das Verh???ltnis von Stereotypen und Vorurteilen in der westlichen Gesellschaft und weiters die geschlechtsspezifische Sozialisation als Grundlage von Stereotypen im Kontext der Geschlechter.
