I expected a lot more from this book. It reads like fan fiction written by a young teenager. It is obviously vanity published, and is full of grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors which kept me from being able to focus on the story line. It is poorly written, and very poorly edited. I was very disappointed in this book. I love the Phantom story, and the musical which this book is based upon, but instead of an engaging take on Erik's life after the opera, I found this book to be trite, and uninspiring.
