This is not a book for someone wanting a deep analysis of Dali's work. I enjoy this book so much because I read it more from the perspective of a jewelry maker and collector, not that of an art historian. The only real look into the workings of Dali's mind is a brief section at the beginning of the book called "Comments on the jewels", which was written by the artist in 1959. The pictures are are very nice. Descriptions of the various pieces also include dimensions and materials used.
