?Cyndi's List? is one of the most recognizable names in genealogy. Cyndi Howells deserves much credit for creating a clearinghouse for all things genealogical on the Internet. She was the one who convinced many of us to trust the Internet to find information, rather than travel to find it.
I believe Cyndi's online list is more up-to-date and use it more frequently than the book form. However, the book form lays out the incredible span of the information available to folks seeking info about their ancestors.
