In addition, novel concepts to increase organ availability are addressed, including kidney paired donation and single site laparoendoscopic donor nephrectomy for living donor kidney transplantation, and utilization of marginal, hepatitis C positive, and older donor organs to increase deceased donor transplant opportunities.
