Se estudia la caracterizaci???n de la c???scara de almendra, as??? como su evaluaci???n agron???mica como sustrato en los cultivos de mel???n y tomate. Utilizando como sustrato testigo a la lana de roca.La reutilizaci???n de la c???scara de almendra como sustrato, aument??? los valores de todas las propiedades f???sicas y qu???micas a excepci???n de la relaci???n C/N y capacidad y intercambio cati???nico la cuales disminuyeron. No existieron diferencias entre lana de roca y c???scara de almendra para la producci???n de mel???n y tomate, como tampoco en las diferentes granulometr???as.
