If you are into mountain men stories terry Johnston is the author to read. His books about Titus Bass are excellent. His research is meticulas. Highly recommend his books.

Hard to put it down!
First book of Trilogy. Amazing the research he must have done to make a novel this historically accurate, and still have it hold your attention to this degree. I've found any of Terry Johnston's books to be well worth reading!
