I read this book about four years ago. I have reread it many times since then. The characters and story line of this book is just entrancing. This could easily be one of the best young adult fiction books ever written. Reading this book is like actually watching these people's lives go by. You know how Clara feels about Amos, and you know how Amos feels about her. You understand everything that goes on. It's just one of those unforgettable books that I would recommend to anyone of any age.
