This is a collection of 41 essays and stories of varying size and quality. Part of the collection consists of papers presented at a conference of writers in May 1990. The other part is comprised of stories obtained elsewhere. All of the works are by minority and/or female writers. Some seem to be screeds impelled by anger, others are well thought out. It is not really what I had anticipated by the title.
