Some of the designs have a "wall paper" style in that the cover the entire page while other designs incorporate multiple patterns segmented by geometric and organic shapes for an extra element of challenge.Colored pencils, pens & pastel chalks are best suited for the paper used for these designs. It is recommended that you place a thin layer of cardboard or thick paper under the design you're working on color if gel pens, markers etc are used.
