A solid former library book rebound in pine green buckram cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Tips and spine ends sharp, pocket and borrow slip pulled from rear endpps but all pages present. A handsome volume with some light handling soil in margins. This is another collection of short stories which were all published before 1930 in various magazines of the day. They were then gathered here by Scribner's for this compilation and speckled with 40 of Will James' best line drawings, 28 are with title captions.
