Bruce Cooper, a Londoner now living in the Midlands, is married to Patty. They have two children; twins Bobby and Charlene. Bruce has worked in a metal factory for fifteen years and is now faced with redundancy. He has a choice of staying with the factory under new management and accepting a cut in salary or taking a redundancy pay-off. There is no prospect of other work in his area. He buys a scratch card on the way home and gives it to his wife. They have won four million pounds. Even though Brexit is on the doorstep Patty decides to make a new life in Spain. But they get more than they bargain for. The house they buy is right in the middle of a Russian community - and they're not ordinary Russians.
