Evans, 34118. Shaw & Shoemaker, 4658. Howes, M650. Church 1282. Sabin 49321. Provenance: Timothy Bigelow (1767-1821), a noted Masschusetts lawyer. Bigelow was a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Harvard Class of 1786. He served as the Mass. Speaker of the House in the early 1800s, and a was a delegate at the Hartford convention. Later book plate of Henry Lee (1817-1898, Harvard Class of 1836. See Harvard Men's bookplate collection for reference, "bona quae honesta". )
