The Board of Direction may suspend meetings of the Society in the months of July and August. A Convention Of the Society for professional discussion and social intercourse shall be held annually at such place as the Society may determine, and be pre sided over by a Chairman selected from among Members not officers of the Society. During the Convention, a regular meeting of the Society, to be presided over by the Officers of the Society, may be held for the transaction of business. On the evening of the first day of the Convention, there Shall be held a meeting to which the public may be invited, and at which the President Of the Society shall deliver an address giving a summary of engineering progress during the preceding year.
