This is my "second" copy of the book, as I had to send it to a friend. This is perhaps the best book on the Apache Wars I have read. The research is phenomenal. Few authors have given so much detail on the Apache Wars, as Dan Thrapp. He is "the man"...

Dan Thrapp is one of the pre-eminent historian's in the field. This book is a good overview of the wars in Apacheria. Provides a good military operational perspective of the campaigns.
