So Jim. Why did you write this book? Communing with the Trinity consistently, first in our quiet place and then in everyday life, is the only way to walk in the Spirit. So Jim. Why did you write this book? Communing with the Trinity consistently, first in our quiet place and then in everyday life, is the only way to walk in the Spirit. Living/walking in the Spirit is the only way we can please Father and keep from living a life in the suspended animation of infancy. When we live life in the suspended animation of infancy, all we do is cry for more milk and a diaper change. We live enamored and entertained by shiny things dangling from our cribs. Today we have churches full of crybabies encased in the stench of dirty diapers and mesmerized with the shiny things of this world. They walk in the flesh not the Spirit. They try to develop community with each other without recognizing the community of communion they have with the persons of the Trinity. The result? What is to be a community of communion becomes a gathering of individuals focused on getting their needs met. Few live as mature people who have been born into the family of God, endued with and driven by His divine nature. Few recognize they have been raised to the position of Sons in His kingdom with both authority and responsibility. Fewer yet recognize they have been transformed to live in conformity to the image and sacrificial servant attitude of Jesus. They were never taught nor seen patterned communion with the persons of the Trinity in either their quiet place nor in their everyday lives. They only see facsimiles of such things during religious services. When we have churches full of people who commune with the Trinity, we will see local churches turned upside down and inside out. These people will live in the Spirit and reject a life living in the flesh. Everything will change from the business model and programmatic culture we now experience. As these Spirit empowered people live filled with the holiness, truth and love of Father, their eyes will turn from the things of this world. They will fixate on the things of the Spirit, the things above. They will have a full, complete, intimate experiential knowledge of Father while seeing themselves seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. These Spirit driven people will form and live in ever expanding authentic communities of communion. They will simplify their lifestyles using their time, energy and resources to minister first and foremost to the Lord. Then they will begin to authentically minister to one another and those in the wider community. They will use finances to meet the needs of the people of God and those who come for help from the surrounding community. Building programs, administrative counsels, professionalism and programmatic ministry will be seen as things from an apostate era. The expansion of Father's Kingdom will fulfill the destiny of His people using only kingdom processes while humanistic processes will fall by the wayside. The Spirit will empower these processes working through Father's people as His nature becomes their activating life force. All will recognize that their old life force, their old sin-filled nature, was crucified in Christ. This will happen in this age and time. Instead of focusing on a coming kingdom, His people will live in the kingdom established by the Messiah Jesus on this earth. It and it alone will become their sole focus (soul focus). These people of kingdom destiny will enthusiastically move through the kingdom of darkness with the self-emptying, sacrificial attitude of Jesus. The world will see emanating from them the light of the Trinity's holiness, truth and love. When, and only when this happens, the Trinity will receive the glorious honor, praise and worship They deserve. This glorification of the persons of the Trinity will happen in this age and in the one to come. When Jesus does return, He will return to a victorious church not one waiting to be snatched out of a sin-filled world. So why did I write a two-volume book on communing with the Trinity?Hmmm . . . You tell me.
