As a plant enthusiast , I found this book extremely helpful in its straightforward approach to soiless gardening. An easy read with plenty of diagrams, pictures and explanations of how to set up the various types of hydroponics. I have been wanting to set up a small scale operation for market gardening for some time and this book has become my setup and operations manual. On any scale this book is an essential and brings to light the many benefits of water gardening and explains the importance of nutrients, pH, types of growing material, etc. and how to avoid problems as well as troubleshoot. I don't know how many times I said "wow, thank goodness I found this out now, or I could have wasted a lot of time and money for nothing", while reading this book.
