In 2000, Koch reissued Asleep at the Wheel's 1973 debut, Comin' Right at Ya, and 1975's Texas Gold, the band's third album, as a CD two-fer. While the package misses Asleep's 1974 album for Epic (different label, different rights; the two here are from EMI and Capitol, respectively), these two albums nevertheless make good companion pieces, since the first record shows a band with enormous potential and the second finds a band reaching its potential.
