This book is straight forward, easily understandable and for the most part a road-map for tapping into your funny bone.
"The Comedy Writing Workbook" isn't like the other comedy books I've tried. They all supply rules and formulaic scripts to teach you to write jokes, which is a process that leaves your works lacking. This book however sets no rules and supplies no scripts aside from from those you write yourself. The book allows you to find your own natural Comedic Values and your own voice, a a core value which none of the other books seem to tap into.
Get this book you won't be sorry and neither will your jokes.
