Yet another pretty decent murder mystery novel wrongly labelled a "small-town horror" with plenty of "psychological dread." The fact that this happens fairly often is pretty annoying. Come With Me delivers neither of those things for the overwhelming majority of the book, leading you on with a very strong and emotional beginning, but quickly devolving into a very slightly supernaturally assisted (and I mean VERY slightly, the ghost thing is very much a weak subtheme) murder mystery that drags and drags while our protagonist runs in circles, only to reach a relatively unsurprising ending.
If I knew what I was getting into, I may have given this 3. I definitely think the misleading labels are worth giving it less though. Big letdown, as the first 10% of the book or so really had me thinking this would be a much more supernatural mystery story than it was, even if not a horror.
