The book is jointly published by Democratic China and the Institute for China's Democratic Transition. Democratic China is a NGO founded by Dr. Liu Xiaobo. Liu Xiaobo once served as Democratic China's president and Editor-In-Chief of Democratic China Electronic Journal. The Institute for China's Democratic Transition is a non-profit think tank and educational organization based in the United States working to prepare for and facilitate the transformation of China into a democracy with free market economy.
