DJ Krush's full-length works have always featured a predominance of midtempo hip-hop, and his contribution to Cold Krush Cuts, the double-disc Ninja Tunes mix compilation (one disc of Krush, one of Coldcut) is no different. Utilizing Ninja Tune artists (DJ Vadim makes eight appearances), the material is of a piece. Aside from the chosen records, Krush's mixing skills are OK but overshadowed by Coldcut & DJ Food on the other disc. ~ John Bush, Rovi
