Nearly all of the music on the collection features light strings, swinging brass, psuedo-rock & roll beats and incessently catchy melodies. The album largely draws from British films like Lolita, What's Up Pussy Cat, Grand Slam, Blow-Up, and The Knack...And How to Get It, with a few American and French films thrown in for good measure. But the whole sound of the album is the sound of swinging London, complete with "la-la-la" backing vocals, muted horns and bright, punchy hooks.
