Seller's Description:
Good. Hardcover in dust jacket, minor wear to jacket with very light bowing to boards, previous owner bookplate inside front cover, binding tight and pages bright, a nice copy.
Proves the old adage that you can't tell a book by its cover. Entitled Classic Ships and with a cover photo of the great Queen Mary, one might expect more than a few short pages on ocean liners. It was also obvious that ocean liners were not an area of expertise for the author with a number of inaccuracies. I only paid $2.00 which proves out the other old age...you get what you pay for.
