For me (I'm kind of out of shape) the workout has me feeling areas in my thighs that I forgot existed. The day after I was sore. The second day after, I was even worse. Is that possible? I used Icy Hot.
Obviously, it's a good workout to have me feeling like this.
But don't be intimidated by the pain. While you're doing the workout you don't feel a ton of pain. Many of the routines are repetitive sets and so if you can't do 10 lounge kicks on the second set, just do 8 or 6. While doing the leg work, you're supposed to hold on to the side of a chair. It reminds me of barre exercises in ballet as a kid. So it feels familiar.
In the 1990s, when it came out in VHS format, critics said it wasn't good for the back. It could cause back injuries. I already have a back problem, so I skip her abs sections and just do my own ab routine on my Ab Roller.
