This book was honestly kind of cheesy to me. Nick's ex girlfriend calls in a panic - he hasn't heard from her in years. He and the town sheriff, Kaitlyn go to check it out. They find the ex has been kidnapped but they left the baby! Nick decides to take the baby in - all to make Kaitlyn fall for him. That's what it seemed to me, anyway. Then there's the whole danger at every corner, explosions. Nothing seemed believable? There is a HEA if you're after that. It was unfortunately just meh.
