Gerry (Opa) Kohn died in June of 1997 and we decided it was time to record some of the family stories before Irena (Oma) Kohn was gone. We hired Andrea Gross to interview and record Irena's story. Andrea met with Irena in Denver over several days, recorded the interviews, wrote out the salient stories and included her observations.
