decent intro text
This is a pretty good intro text which covers all the basics of chemistry. Good charts for the elements and important compounds. The book itself in this edition is pretty expensive but if you go to the publisher website you can get the WHOLE text as an ebook online w/ extra excercises in Mastering Chemistry for under $100.
