RETURN ON INVESTMENT: 6 of 10; It's the great Stoner Duo in a story without drugs! They do show they can act, that their (Chong's) creativity extends beyond roach jokes. The film touchs on torture and sexual perversions (think de Sade) It has a beginning, a middle and an end. There are good comic routines throughout. But, by taking away the drugs, they show the appeal for their humor is limited, also evidenced by the fact this was their last movie together as leads. Idea exhausted. But, Chong does come up with the "My Brother" bit to his advantage.

ADDED NOTES: They summarize this film best in the credits where the location of filming is given as "Somewhere in France".
