A unique record of captivity under the Japanese. George Aspinall took secret photographs while a prisoner of war at the infamous Changi POW camp, and also on the appalling Thai/Burma Railway. He not only took photographs at great personal risk, but developed them on the spot using chemicals smuggled in medicine bottles from Singapore.
