When former Scope columnist-turned-Student Government Senator DeMarcus Milton alleges racial bias in balloted for the Homecoming Queen, tempers flare across the campus. Disagreements over race and culture emerge, and as Jay and his team digs into the charges leveled by Milton, a tangled web emerges, one which threatens to tear the entire staff apart as they learn some uncomfortable truths and what they decide is important enough for which to take a stand.
