Wonderful
Just as gardeners are helped by knowing when to plant, how to plant, weed management, composting, etc., so too the Christian is benefitted by encouragement on the basics of a spiritual life. Ultimately God grows a garden, and ultimately it is God that meets us where we are, but He is pleased by our efforts to seek Him. Richard Foster does a superb job describing and encouraging us in ancient practices that apply to our lives today.
