La seconde partie est la description technique, presque pierre a pierre, de tout ce qui emerge encore sur le sol et des fouilles qu'on a pratiquees dans ce siecle. Elle est accompagnee d'une grande carte, dressee pour l'atlas archeologique de la Tunisie. Nous ne crai gnons pas de dire que celui qui prendrait la peine de suivre cette description' topographique, pas a pas sur le terrain, notre carte a la main, connaitrait a peu pres tout ce qu'il est raisonnable d'affirmer, dans l'e tat actuel de la science, sur identification des vestiges materiels, helas si mutiles, de la puissante rivale de Rome.
