Vntage Los Angeles "Satyr" bookstore label on rear pastedown. Normal toning to paper. Original green cloth with gilt titles and black ink illustration on front board of gorilla are well preserved thanks to the surviving dust jacket which is only fair to good due to chipping mainly along lower edge. Some chipping to upper edge, particularly at top of spine. Striking dust jacket art. Slight corner bumps. First published in 1929, this is the 1930 3rd printing. Illustrated with numerous b&w photos on coated paper and some maps.
