The text of the Patent Act itself is given in full, with annotations by paragraphs, in order to make clear those points, on which it has been found, in practice, that misconceptions and consequent errors, have arisen, causing trouble, delay; and oftentimes resulting in failure. The official forms issued by the Patent Office, are given, with marginal notes, in relation to the insertion of details applicable to special cases.
