This book is absolutely essential to gardeners interested in having truly a California native garden, and what better way to buck the trend to everything in the world looking the same? which is what has happened to gardens, too, unfortunately. I therefore decided to design a Southern California landscape that would not be duplicated anywhere in the world and I would not be able to do this at all without this particular book.
