I really liked this book. It is not as dark as "Still Summer" but deals with the theme of a Mormon girl mourning after the murder of her sisters. I would recommend this book!

Revenge is sweet but unsatisfying
This novel starts out with the murder of two little sisters by a random stranger while they are in the care of their 12 year old sister. While the older sister is hiding in a shed during a game of hide and seek, the sisters are murdered. The older sister comes out of hiding and discovers this. The perpetrator of the crime is deemed to be schizophrenic and is committed to a mental institution which does not sit well with the surviving sister. When he is released after a number of years and pronounced well she starts on her quest for revenge. The story then proceeds as a good study of redemption and forgiveness.
