June 1974 hardcover stated 1st edition implicit 1st printing inscribed by co-author John D. Marks to Mel Wulf on the ffep. The inscription reads "To Mel, Without whom there wouldn't have been a book, With respect and love, J"). Mr. Wulf was legal director of the ACLU from 1962-1977, and wrote the introduction. A lot of edgewear, soil/tanning and sunning, and some rippling on dj (now in mylar), folds on flaps, sunning on cover, Dee Wulf's (his wife) name also on ffep, small fold on one page, some soil on edge, tobacco smell if you go into the spine, else text clean, binding tight.
