I had previously puchased "CDC?" from a catalog at company that deals with overstock books. I had no idea what it was but because the illustratiions were by a favorite cartoonist, William Steig, I immediately ordered it. What a delight it was to receive it and figure out what the letters - not words - meant, such as in its title, "CDC?" which translates into "See the Sea?" I took it to a friends's house when she was entertaining her grandchildren. Her 9-year old granddaughter loved figuring out the "codes" on each page though most were not so easy as "CDC?" I immediately turned to Alibris and was happy to find copies of the book and purchased one for my friend's granddaughter.
