Dawn now lives on a ranch in Southern Alberta and looks forward to traveling the provinceto share this book with children and educators. Lorna Bennett attended Grant MacEwan Community College and the University of Alberta inthe Arts/Fine Arts program. She has worked as a ski instructor, designer, writer, illustrator, andanimator. Her previous children's picture books include Sandwiches for Duke and Dot to Dotin the Sky . Lorna has toured with the Young Alberta Book Society's Chrysalis Festival, teachingart in elementary schools. She makes her home in Edmonton, Alberta.
