The strongest cut is "I Choose Life," a song about "keep(ing) the angel of death at bay in the middle of a silent war." The final affirmative chorus of that song is followed by a group of voices singing "We will remember, we will remember their names." A strong album of political pop, Burning Times has a vibrant power that matches the music to the message, such as on the reggae rocker "The Only Green World."
