The Mysteries in Our National Parks series is a superb set of stories, each set in a different national park. Reading them is a fine way to introduce young people to our national park system as well as provide a gripping story. The authors understand how young people think and act. It's obvious that the authors have done their research in the actual site of the story, sometimes even drawing on real people. The mysteries are believable and exciting, the characterizations are well drawn. Buried Alive presents the most danger-filled story of the whole series. Real nail-biting action. Highly recommended.
