Lowther 177 "Written to expound the author's view that opportunities for settlers in the two colonies had been exaggerated and that it was highly unjust to promote emigration to them." There were two later editions as well as this first edition. The copy belonging to T.B. Baines who was probably Thomas Blackburn Baines.
