"I Don't Need This Now" is a beautiful ballad that exhibits the band's range, and "Dirty Water" displays a showmanship uncommon among the self-conscious bands of this genre. Every once in awhile, however, the band settles for emulating some of their less-inventive contemporaries. "Step On Outside" sounds like an outtake from Matchbox 20's Yourself or Someone Like You, and "Pack Up And Leave" could have been written by any number of interchangeable radio bands. Still, there is something very likable about this trio.
